About me
My name is Kim Hunkeler, and I live in the beautiful canton of Lucerne, Switzerland.
After successfully completing my education as a software engineer, I began studying 'Game Art & 3D Animation' at SAE in Zurich.
I always wanted to develop my own video games. My first game was entirely written in C#, a mix of Pac-Man and Snake.
Shortly after, I purchased a license for the 2D engine 'Construct 2'. Inspired by classic games like Duke Nukem, my first larger project, Ultra Fred, was born.
At this point, I decided to pursue a degree in game art. After 3.5 years of study, I earned my bachelor's degree in early 2020.
Currently, I'm working on a modern 3D platformer on my own.
I have experience with Gimp, Photoshop, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Construct 2, Unreal Engine 4 and 5, as well as Unity.
When it comes to programming, I prefer Visual Studio.
